Well I can tell you African PHs and most full time guides get it right a whole lot more often than they get it wrong. There are a lot of dude hunters that owe their lives to the excellent skills of these people. The experience and expertise is so far above the average person on this or any other forum, it is hard to believe. Those of you making sport of the ones unlucky enough to get it wrong are really aholes with a far over developed sense of your own importance and knowledge. I'm in total agreement…..just couldn't restrain from mentioning the human angle! Generally, humans move much slower than animals…..unless you're attacked by a Sloth! memtb

You made a good point and I completely understand why you would choose what you did. It's a solid choice. Bolt actions are slow.
For me an auto loading Beretta with large diameter buckshot or slugs would be my 1st choice because I am very quick with one and I don't have to get it to my shoulder to be accurate. That goes back to my trickshooting days. There aren't many brands of shotgun I would trust but I would trust a Beretta.
