That's a bummer about that eye relief. If those narrower/taller rings don't work you could have your smith take a little off the rear of the stock worst case scenario. IDK what your LOP is or if it will affect you, sounds like a compromise no matter what though.

If the taller rings don't let it slide back far enough for proper eye relief I'll probably change scopes honestly. The LOP is totally fine though.

Must be the Creedmoor's big brother ? Na, I'm not down with that. The 300NM is still Bad ***. Especially the improved version. It's an entirely different animal than the standard case. I love it.

my 22" barreled 300 NIMP will run he 215 over 3000 very nicely with little trouble and with h1k or n570. I dint try any 181 hammers but its the same case cap as RUM or real close so running them too 3400 wont be an issue in a 26" I wouldn't think with h1k
