300 Norma Mag Improved. Follow along!!!

Well the 181 Hammer session didn't go as I was hoping. Much slower than I was anticipating and not accurate…. Yet lol.

Then I went back to fire forming and shot this 3 shot fire forming group lol.

So I'm really not concerned about the potential accuracy of the rifle. I just have a little more work developing a load than I thought I would. I never had the hammers not shoot 1/2 MOA with the first seating depth lol
This puts the rifle in minute of fly catagory. Keep the group this does not happen often enough

I have some foulers and 15 rounds loaded up at 94gr of H1000 with .003 neck tension for the next range trip. I'll be taking it to 800 yards I think.

Have to re-mount my scope with some higher rings so that I can hopefully get slide back far enough for a correct length of pull/eye relief combo. It's simply too far forward right now and the objective bell is almost touching the rail. So I'll re-mount the scope in the new rings when they come in, and then hopefully this weekend get out and sight in at 200 and verify drops and groups at around 800.

If your sack is big enough, you could could cut the rail. That's a button that can't be un-pushed. I've done it but can't say if it was a winner or not.

I like some room !
Plus its hurts my neck to get that tight to the stock and look through .
You need room when you have 325 min of Elevation! 🤣🤣

Hahaha oh I greatly debated it!! Definitely if it was an aftermarket rail, but I can't do it to my $1700 action 😅😅😅. Also, my scope cover would immediately hit also lol.
