The APA brake adds another 1 3/4 to the overall
24 inch 9.4 twist for the 338
Brake adds another 2 3/4 to the length

Even better I can use the same load on this new barrel. I'll just up the powder weight to max after 50 shots and I'm good for another 500 or so shots

What are you using for charge weight and what kind of speeds are you seeing out of what barrel length?

Awesome. That was literally the exact data I found as well. 87gr. N570 with a 195 is the easy button for sure!

I have another 1-8 twist 24" barrel that I'll probably be shooting 195's and N570 through at some point.
