So is the process of forming factory 28 nos brass to 30-28 Nosler as simple as necking brass up to .30 cal?

And out of curiosity was is the capacity gain, 2-3 grains?

Yes and no.

Yes you can and for all the testing of the 4 different variants of xx/26 Nosler that is exactly what I did, Nothing special at all. Accuracy was very very good.

When it came time to go hunting, I skim turned the necks which is something I do for all serious shooting.

Easy enough. I'm not set up to turn necks yet but will be in the near future. If that's all it takes I might just go the 30-28 nos route. I was planning on running a 22-24 in bbl so the extra capacity should help. Thinking 2900-2950 is achievable in a 22in bbl with the 215gr bergers?

Depends on the barrel and if you coat your bullets. hBN?
