Sons first bull elk in New Mexico. Shot was 363 yards with a 28 Nosler 180 Hybrid's 3,060 fps. Kinda high shoulder shot top of lungs shredded and spine ruptured and went through back shoulder cause of a angle down shot. Bull dropped in his tracks and bullet exited with a little over 1 1/4" hole. He wanted to elk hunt for his graduation gift. We had to make it a fast hunt cause of all the school missed and football missed. 2nd Day of the hunt he connected after we chased a herd all evening. Proud of him.
