10lbs is perfectly fine and keeps the gun plenty shootable without being a tank
From one vet to another, thanks for your service, brother. I have a hunch you'll make that hunt. God blessYes sir. I have already been invited to WY but my wife is disabled and have not had anyone that can stay with her. Just getting something together and dreaming mostly. One of these days.
Thanks brother, very much appreciated. I hope so, but God's will, not mine. Thank you for your service as well. From one vet to another, thanks for your service, brother. I have a hunch you'll make that hunt. God bless
The best way to see if that rifle will for your purpose for sure would be you get out and carry it around and then shoot it a bit. Not sure how far from the hills you are, but if you have any public land you can hike and shoot on, or just hike with the rifle, it will be good conditioning and possibly shooting prep and you can see what your limitations are.
