My truck gun for many years was a 303 Lee Enfield that looked like it had been through a war. Come to think of it, it was.
6.5 CM. I've stretched it out to 1000 yds and its pretty amazing what you can do with a 12" in barrel.I like this! What caliber is your pork sword?
I've actually shot coyotes out to 250 yards with that 10.5" barrel. It's a handy little rig!Did ya' get that 'yote with INDIRECT fire????
What is that rifle mount you have there that looks very good. Interested what you used if you made it. Maybe more pictures of possible.
Beautiful guns but the Ford motorized running boards are too much. I have them on my Ford and hate them with a passion. Never again will any pickup I own have them. I tend to take my truck on prairie trails that could be better described as two mud ruts and all those things do is clog with mud and stop working. Hate isn't a strong enough word. Here are my 2 ride along rigs that I take in the Superduty or the CanAm Defender. Both are Kelbly Atlas Tactical actions in 308. Suppressed 18" rig is dialed in with a 130 Barnes TTSX that moves at 3140 FPS. Other is a 18" Proof that runs a 168 Swiss plus P at 2740. Both are 1 hole shooters. Soon to be added will be a 22 Creed with a 20" Proof.

Yeah, most steps do that. These aren't the "Ford" steps. When tucked up they don't seem to catch too much. I don't mind the mud as much as I dislike loosing clearance with Nerfbars, etc…. Ive had them for 10 years on 2 different rigs and they've never failed me. Nerf bars and steps I've ripped off the truck underside. Not to mention nerf bars look like SHEET. That's a separate thread though.Beautiful guns but the Ford motorized running boards are too much. I have them on my Ford and hate them with a passion. Never again will any pickup I own have them. Who makes that chassis?
I have bought a sold several 45-70s thinking one would stick for my Nilgai gun but just never did. Hard to beat a 28N shooting 195s or 300 PRC shooting 212s. But those aren't truck guns.45/70 don't leave home without it
