Berger great bullet especially the 215gr in the 300 Win mag
Great for target or sniping but to much meat damage for hunting.
Best all around bullet for the 300 Win Mag?

Great for target or sniping but to much meat damage for hunting.
I mostly shoot 165 Hornady Interlock in 30 cal. My dad started on this 20+ years ago. He bought components we could use across my -06, brothers -06, and his 300. So we used the Hornady + H4831. Get great groups in 300 WM and 30-06 w/ H4831.
I recently loaded up some 181 Hammer Bullets to give them a run. Can't report on range results just yet.
Glad I ran across this thread. I inherited dad's rifle and want to stretch the legs on the 300 more than he was able to do.
