Then that guy killed a PURE BREAD, domestic, at Ferndale this week. That got loose from owner? That has permits etc. Happened before also, what happens when loose and they decide they want to run with the pack?

If all goes well, they die of natural causes... like lead poisoning !

As far as drugging the wolf, it can be quite elusive. Although FWP is not far away, the wolf could be a mile away and in a less traveled part of town by the time a warden or the wolf specialist was on the scene. It could be a loner from anywhere and passing through. It could have been a wolf that's on an Idaho F&G frequency and with its collar functional. It could have been an Alberta or British Columbia frequency. Mike
