The peanut butter is getting spread thin with the 15 7 BC threads.
At this point I'm just hoping to see this thing make it to 100 pages or more.... and will contribute every now and then for the sake...It's hard to believe but I think at 50+ pages it seems like most (except northkill) have ran out of bashing material.
I'm sure there will be a few more stragglers but it seems like the 6.5 creedmoor punching bag let the boxer's punch their selves out.
Weemoor that's hilariousOh, If I hadn't built my 260 before the availability of accurate factory loads, I could very well have gone with a Weemoor. I built an 8 twist 260 with a "match" chamber. It's been a long time since I shot it but the time is coming. I have a barrel that could be 6.5 alittlemoor but there is only a 500 rounds down the existing pipe.
Single feeding a Vanguard can take a long COAL. I am more concerned with being able to unload a live round and that is my single feed max COAL. A little work and I should be able to get another .050-.100 COAL making it more than 3" capable.
Sheez.... this a LR forum. We're talkin about the 6.5 Creedmortar.... had to be 2 mile and a quarter...That was over a mile, right?!
Ding dingEven in a boxing match there are rest periods!
I can do that with my ar15Yep, and after all the ridicule and bashing, really looking forward to the next range trip so I can watch the bouncing 3" gong at 500 after impact from my 6.5 Creed Tikka Super Varmint sissy rifle!
That reminds me of the insurance commercials with the pig and the wind thing out the car windowWeemoor that's hilarious
Amen! With everything else that there is in life to be concerned with, when it comes to taking things seriously, a given rifle caliber should be WAAAY down the list! Having said that, this has been kind of fun IMO.This thread is all in "good fun". Kinda like any "this is the best" thread goes.
I don't think there are any real "haters" here. No one is really suggesting that any 6.5 Creedmoor owner or shooter should change.
Seriously, it's the new guy on the block. Enthusiasts truly make themselves targets by being so zealous.
Don't take anything seriously.
