Why shoot a sissy rifle?

So……if a 6.5 CM chambered rifle is considered a " sissy rifle ", what constitutes a " big boy rifle"? Does that have to be something that will kick the ever lovin' snot out of you unless you put a brake the size of a garbage can on the end of it that will absolutely clear every other shooter off the line at the local range and qualify you as the king of A holes?

I was heading into the local reloading store on Thursday to pick up some bullets for my 300 H&H. Sure enough, when I walked in there were two of those "sissies" staring at half empty shelves where all of those yellow boxed bullets and Hornady's "match" bullets are. I couldn't believe I overheard them talking about using them on a hunt next fall - how unethical are kids these days. They were saying how upset they are that the 156s and 147s are never on the shelf, whatever that means?

As i turned a corner in the store I nearly ran into my good buddy Randy Selby, "The REAL GUNSMITH." I stopped to tell him about the cataract that was giving me trouble, and he spilled too much about the hernia that was making it difficult to sit. Reminded me of the scene from Grumpy Old Men. Before you know it I found myself heading out the door and the worker yelled "See ya FUDD later" - just then I realized, due to my dimentia, I forgot the Partitions and Core-Lokts I was there for.

Just so we all have it straight. It's the gun you shoot that makes you da man, not the other way around. Just make sure everybody knows yer status by wearing the shirt. Guys that kinda keep their distance from ya are just jealous, feeling inferior, or a little scared. Maybe all of the above.
(ya'll know this is silly sarcasm, right?)

You may want to look into the effectiveness of match bullets for hunting. @Creedmoor shooter has a thread about using the 140 ELDM out of the 6.5 CM for deer and bear.
I don't want this thread to turn into a match vs hunting bullets argument. I will add that I haven't use match bullets for hunting but I am not opposed to the idea.

I'd wear it with pride. Especially if it'll keep people away from me.
