Well, if nothing else, if the length of this thread is any indication, the 6.5 Creedmoor certainly hasn't lost anything when it comes to stimulating debate and conversation!!

Let's face it, the Creed is nothing more than the 6.5x55 with better ballistics, popular enough that components likely won't be a problem for decades. That's huge. I have 300 and 375 H&H and man you have to scrounge for cases. 25.06 isn't all that easy either. If I do find a donor Ruger No.1, I might do another 6.5 build for that reason.

Heck, after I bought my 6.5 Needmoor I stopped shooting my 300 RUM, 300 WM and 7 Rem mag because the Needmoor could shoot way further and hit harder !

That's one of the top reasons why I picked this cartridge for my last purchase. Brass will probably never be a problem with so many shooting factory ammo.
