Who is your favorite hunting influencer?

I watch the shows for the entertainment value and learning about the various places and annimals.
I did not have any relatives that hunted, so I learned from friends and since the interent from fellow hunters on sites like this at are willing to take the time and share their knowldege and experiences with others. Thank you to all of you who take the time to share and help others!!!!

Didn't Elmer always have a double barrel shotgun ? What gauge ( I'm guessing 12) and make was it ?

I've got his book "Hell I Was There" I'll see if he mentions any shotguns.

Elmer probably had more than one double barrel shotgun, but the one that I remember getting the most writing about was an Ithaca 10 gauge 3.5" double he used on waterfowl. As far as writers go, Elmer, Jack, Bob Hagel, Craig Boddington, John Taffin, and Skeeter Skelton were all avidly read and admired.
