We are all just "prolonging the inevitable" even now. It will end for all of us at some point. Since I don't own guns or loading gear I will be digging tiger traps. Hopefully I will catch a tiger and quickly train it to heel. Nobody would mess with a guy with a pet tiger!

This is a system for SHTF. 357 Handi bored to Max with loads from 125 grains to 180. Iron sighted with XS sites and scoped. Iron is zeroed and in bag. 12 GA barrel Iron sighted and choked (modified) just tight enough to let a slug pass through and rated for steel shot. Front site is tapped into the barrel and choke for longevity. 410 iron sighted. Pistol that comes with a 9mm cylinder just in case I need to scrounge. Lee Loader to load if it comes to that in my pack.

I would guess the fangs about 20MM and claws 10MM. Slashes and bites would create quite the wound channels. I am afraid of Tigers, and,,, Clowns.

I just got an Email from Townhall, says if Congress doesn't ban Black Rifles he will do it with an XO. Don't think he can legally do it, but that is his threat according to Townhall. Len, I think you should delete this whole thread. It was just for fun anyway......

Per the game rules and cenario of having to hike a long distance, and keeping in mind all the other gear needed to provide comfort and security, I'd load 400 .556, 50 40 s&w, 50 9mm, . Take two Ar-15's and the 2 pistols.

It's fairly predictable. Hence the rush to purchase firearms, ammo, and components. If you are on a firearms forum, on social media, on the web, have a smart phone, have a car with gps, ete you already have a footprint.

No need for all that work, they had me at Hunting License, CCW License, and scores from shoots posted on the Web. All those have my real name and address. But, being from the Government I'm sure they would do it the hard way. Pittiful thing is I am not a threat to a single human being, other than the threat of beating you in competition. Winning or losing a few bucks and maybe a prize isn't much of a threat.

Hello again good people, I would have to go with 223 , have a lot and don't have to run or walk far. I live in the woods so the wife can keep heads down with the terrible assault rifles while I could be behind who ever with in a few, if I had to go that far. Got some pretty awsome oak trees for back up around 3 to4 hundred years old. They stop a lot and look different at night. But the kids are gone so it's a little different and would be one heck of a rain of 223 the wife loves the A R more than the precision bolt, what can I say take care and be safe people.

Coming from a soldier...what most people think engagements will be is a fantasy. I have been shot at and shot at people. Its close stuff. Anything beyond lets say 100 yards should be counted as murder. Its nearly impossible to establish threat beyond that. So the gent who said just a shotgun is right on! Think closer.
