Which ammo would you use?

Based on my experience both the Ballistic Tip and Silvertip will work great. They are great deer bullets and will drop the animal in its tracks with good shot placement.

I use the deer xp in the creed for a loaner. I've recovered 2 gut shot deer in less than 100yds and 5 others closer than 10 steps from impact with chest shots 1 frontal 2 should bone and 2 high shoulder shots.

I figured, but wasn't sure. My 7mm Rem Mag likes the 140gr Silvertip better though, provably because of the coating. Shoots half MOA, and the normal Ballistic Tip just under MOA.

Hornady 25-06 Rem 117 gr SST shoot really well out of my Remingtion Sendero and have very tight groupings.
