What's your elk rifle?

This year it will be my Savage 112 BVSS in .300 Win Mag. Since the field picture its had a Muscle Brake added, as well as the action tuned up and the bolt fluted. Next year I'll build a custom, but this rifle had been great. On top is a Bushnell 4200 Elite Tactical 6-24x50mm with Burris Zee Rings and a EGW base.

Very nice rig.

I am a newby, and my elk rifle will be a Weatherby Mark V Utralightweight. It wears a Swarovski 3-10. Going to Colarado in month. Still trying to workup a load I Like. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Have my new elk rifle in the mail from my gunsmith right now. I'll be taking a couple rifles to camp on the LRH group hunt.

Have always wanted a .350 Remington Mag in either the Seven or the 673 guide gun.

last Elk I shot was with a ruger 77 mk II in 338 win mag about 14 years ago. Now I am using a 6.5-284 cooper with a 4-20 taticle weaver scope. Maybe my luck will change.

RHC, just picked up my .350 last month. I love it! Have not found a load yet that really shoots great, but it is hunting good (1 1/2") They had a used 673 in a .350 at a local gun shop that was mint for @ $600. If your interested let me know i will do the leg work for you.
