Whats the cartridge you LOVE to HATE?

I don't like the CM cartridges. Never owned one, but dislike how much they are marketed.

I'm sticking with my 30-378, 130 grain hammer laser beam rifle. With a 4 port brake, it kicks less than my several 300 WM's. When I shoot the barrel out, I'm putting on a faster twist. This stuff is so much fun, I can't believe it isn't illegal.

I would really like to know how you're loading this - and at what velocity.

I'm not sure I hate any caliber. I do have fond memories of shooting a Remington pump action 30.06 a long time ago. The way it slapped me gently on the shoulder was so nice... It's the only rifle that I've given away (to a family member).

I absolutely despise AR's. I've been saying that since they hit the civilian market. I hate all 8 of the AR's that I built and own (including the two I gave (ahem transferred) to my sons when they got out of the USAF) and I'm going to hate the next two that I build. In fact, thanks to this thread, I think I'll buy a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel for the next one. I should really be able to hate that thing. Now that I've read this thread I hate my 7mm Rem Mag and .308. Stupid things...

OH and suppressors! I hate those too. I bought a couple of those things, it took a year to get permission to take possession, and you know what? Those things won't fire a round! They don't have a chamber. They don't have a barrel. No firing pin, no stock. NOTHING. It's a good thing too. They are so short you might "put your eye out kid". It's the silliest looking firearm / handgun I've ever seen. It's like they aren't even a firearm and have no business being regulated or something.

Good quality scopes. Those things suck. Ok that goes too far. Scopes are good...

I didn't know I had so much hate in me. In keeping with the times "It's not my fault". It's all you social influencers fault. I was perfectly normal-ish until I read this thread. Gun lives... err calibers matter! Stop the hate! Blah-t-blah!

By golly I feel the same way. I thought something was wrong, but after owning 4 308s, one '06, 2 270 Wins, 4 223s 2 of which are ARs (double ), 2 WSMs, 4 338 LMs, 2 330DAKs, 2 375 Cheytacs, 1 375 Ruger, 1 6.5 PRC, 1 50BMG, one 358/375Cheytac wildcat, 2 22LR rim fires, 1 22RF Mag,, 1 30-30 Win, 2 7mmSSs, 2 243 Wins and probably a few other pellet guns an BB guns, I am slowly, unfortunately very slowly, coming to the conclusion I hate them all and, and I really hate to say this, I may, (just may) be (please don't faint) be turning into , man this is tough, a, ready for this?, a gun control advocate! There!!! I got it off my chest!! Finally out of the closet!! What a relief! Trouble is I love all my semi auto 9 mms and 40 cals, 45 Colts, Ruger Vaqueros, and 44 Mags which absolutely MAKE MY DAY and my shotgun collection. Dang! Conflicted again!! Well I felt good for a second or two. I love ( or maybe ) hate this thread. Keep posting. I'll figure it out sooner or later, I think

The 243 Turdchester is my most hated cartridge.
My reasons are multitudinal, let's just say that I have seen more game limp away from this cartridge more than any other.

full sized whitetail doe... hit it at 60 or better... what I think happened is she hit the tow hook with her shoulder because the truck shuttered/banged when she hit... I have a 4 ton 26 foot camper so getting on the brakes when she bolted didn't slow me down much. If it's any solace to you she crapped all over the driver's door when I hit her.
so 7 ton into a whitetail at 90 fps... so 1,762,895 ft/lb if she took the whole hit- which she didn't

I hate to say guys, but I have a Cree but don't think it necessarily is the kill all gun or 1 mile shooter! I mean it is OK, but not the kill all bullet either! I personally don't know if there is a "kill all bullet or gun"! Don't send the hate, as I have many others in the collection also!
I am sure that won't stop ya tho!

Just to try and push this to 60 pages…. I cant stand anything sherman… only because if someone wanted to build a cheytac he'd chime in how the 6.5 max or whatever will do all it can do in a super short action
