What .257 bullet are you shooting?

I'm in the process of gathering parts for a .25SST build. I had planned on shooting the heavies, not specifically for their BC. But because I have a good bit H1000. I really like this powder in my 6.5rsaum. But with the shortage of 131 ACEs and 133 Bergen's, I'm looking for options. it has me reconsidering and thinking another 6.5???

I've killed a lot of deer with a 25 cal using 110 accubond, 100ttsx and 100 grain swift scirocco. The fastest killer I've used hands down is the 115 ballistic tip
I agree with the comment above on the 115 ballistic tips...they did outstanding work for many years on Deer and antelope out of my 25-06. I used the CT version because they look cool, but they are the same thing pretty much. They also make real quick work on coyotes.

Recently I started shooting some 120gr Speer Full Curl. Why? I don't really know but they shoot fair enough and the results from two mule deer shot with them was enough for me to know they are plenty good for my needs.

25-06 AI pushing the 131 ACE's at 3230 with Retumbo. Been bad medicine on South Texas Whitetail, hogs and varmints. 13 for 13 on bang flops with high shoulder shots.

My factory 25-06 really liked 115 grain bergers. When the blackjacks came out I built a 25 Creedmoor around them. While it shoots them well with h4350, I stumbled on a more accurate load by accident. I had someone 115s left and with Varget they shot 1/2 moa.

This 5 shot group last weekend was less than a $1 bill width at 400yds. Shot with a course reticle and some mirage. ( I'm sure the gun was shooting better than I was.}

I shoot the Barnes 100gr tsx and the Nosler 115gr BT and H1000 for both in a 257 weatherby. Both are very accurate and the tsx is better if I'm trying to save meat but the NBT definitely seems to put deer down a little harder

I use my 25-06 for varmints and am limited by the 10 twist barrel. Last year I mounted an EC Tuner Brake on the barrel and with RL-23 and 115g Bergers it shoots single holes at 200 yards. I only push them to 3030 fps because that's were I found a sweet spot and it is easier on the barrel. There seems to be a ton of Berger bullets on some shelves right now so figure out which one you like and stock up with you can.

Currently using the 101gr lrx though im down to my last 40 after load development and getting a real world dope out to 700. Once i use those up I think im going to witch to hammers as they seem more available.

^^This^^ 115 NBT's at 3450fps from a 257 Roy is the fastest killer I've ever experienced from any cartridge/bullet combo. Absolutely incredible.
I'm pushing mine a touch faster than that but I have also had great results. I even fished a whitetail off at about 30 yards broadside through the ribs. Great internal damage with about a 1" exit. Some people claim that the 115 NBT will splash and weatherby velocities and maybe if you hit a shoulder blade square it might but it's been good for me

After 40 yrs and much experimentation, I shoot exclusively Barnes 100gr TTSX & TTX. And am now working up Barnes 101gr LRX, the new long range hunting/target bullet. Both loads at 3450fps w/Re22/23. I have 4 25-06 Ack's and 3 normal 25-06's. All are 0.250"-0.375" shooters with Barnes. For Black Bear I'd shoot the 115gr TTX. But normally it's a bow hunt or a larger caliber. 270WSM or 7mm Dakota, etc.
