What press are you using?

I need a RC for heavy case forming and tough sizing jobs. The Co-Ax is a very large "C" press. The RC is an "O" press. I'd rather stick with a Rock Chucker than abuse my Co-Ax.
I can relate... I would even want to use my coax to neck size with the Lee collet die, so yeah I get it. Other than case forming, what other tough sizing jobs do you do ? I have a single stage Lee Classic cast press for tougher jobs.

Redding Big Boss II, and a T7 with a Creedmoor Sports Turret. I also have an older 007 press that I keep set up for depriming only, military brass.

Pulling dies with your LNL is the same doing it with the coax. Kinda a weak argument !
What are you talking about? You said you had a problem screwing dies in and out , not me. That is not one of my complaints with the Coax. Calm down and read the words slowly before you post.

I've had two over the years and it just wasn't the be-all end-all for me. Fussy shell holder conversion?? and cramped access area?? just doesn't work me. And frankly, the average reloader isn't going to get a great advantage with it over the other types.
Ok I read it slow and it's a weak argument...I watched a video on the shell holder conversion, and it ain't nothin' but simple ! As far as a cramped access area it's nothin' but hilarious !

My MEC Marksman is the strongest C Press that I have ever seen. It will handle anything you throw at it

I'm thinking your MEC is an "O" frame. That press is awesome.

Rockchucker: My forming jobs recently involved making 256 Newton cases from 270's. For fun I made 300 H&H'cases from 375 cases. More recently it was working up a technique for resizing nickle plated 270 cases. Sounds easy? It took time to figure out what works. I'd still not use my Co-Ax in that kind of resizing job. It is senseless to misuse a Co-Ax for this kind of work.

Kid, you need to loosen your tight jeans and move along. You're squirming and losing credibility by the minute. And as far as weak arguments go, I'm too smart to argue with idiots.

It could be.

I've got a 30 year old RCBS Special 5 which is no longer made and is smaller then the Rock Chucker. My dad bought it for me when I was 14. Love the press. Has always been fine. When I was loading for my 338-378, I had to sort of tip the bullets up into the seating die a bit then place on neck to seat. I am having a 338 Lapua improved built and will loading up Hammers and 285/300's as well as 250 AB's. I'm pretty sure my clearance issues will be even worse as I never loaded the 338-378 will anything bigger then 250 SGK's. I also have a Hornady Lock n Load AP that I've only used for 45 and 10mm. I don't plan on ever using anything but a single stage for my rifles. So, I'm thinking I need a new press and am wondering what guys prefer and recommend. I have been looking at the T7 and other turret presses. Thinking those would cut down on time.
I changed to the ZERO press. ..Even though I already have a Dillon 550C and a Hornady Lock N Load and a K&M Precision that I use with a Wilson Micro Adjust Seating Die for my 6.5 PRC & 300 PRC.
I pretty much just load pistol rounds and AR15 rounds on my Dillon. It is pretty consistent on everything but powder dispensing. Its no where accurate/consistent enough for my Long Range Bolt Guns. So I load powder with my V4 & A&D FX -120i
I dont really like the play in the Hornady Lock N Load either with that bushing.
After watching the you tube reviews of F-Class John on the ZERO Press I think thats my pick.

I've got a Dillon 550 that I bought from Dillon in the 80's, and it works very good. I've upgraded through the years to a "B", and now a "C". But I'm real finicky with my hunting hand loads, so I pretty much use it as a single stage, and I hand measure every powder load. I get good ES and accuracy in my loads, so speed of reloading isn't an issue. The Dillon is solid, but I strive for charges down to the tenths of a grain.
