I would like to go on a Nilgai hunt, did you go with an outfitter?
My company does an annual Leadership hunt at the Yturria Ranch. We hunt with LL Hunt Adventures. Brian and his team are top notch and that ranch is one of a kind.

Kudu, gemsbok, black wildebeest, impala and, my personal favorite - eland. Taking a 375 H&H and trying to decide if my second rifle will be a 6.5 PRC or a 300 PRC. Don't need to take two rifles, but want to get some use out of all my favorite rifles (my non-favorite rifles get sold lol).I bet it will be awesome. What will you be hunting for in Namibia?
Yeah don't get caught in Pa killing one.Comarant I believe its name is. Not sure of the spelling. They will clean a pond out. Need to kill every one you see.
But they MAY be a protected species.

866 yds (guide calling distance and wind) on a Presidio County aoudad. 300 H&H with 200 gr. Terminal Ascent. He was facing me a little so when the bullet hit he sat down on his *** and then fell over just before I tried to put another one in him.I shot my furthest this weekend at 465 yards on a whitetail doe. I'm sure I'm not even close to the farthest and probably not even what some consider long range but it's pretty far for me. I used a 6mm creedmoor 88gr hammer hunter 3340fps at muzzle and 2240 estimated at impact.
It got me thinking about how far other people have taken animals. Post em up with what cartridge and loads you used.
