It's just as likely the mounting hardware gets "knocked off zero" from a fall as a scope's zero.

I've had my vortex lht 3-15-50 for two hunting seasons now and my zero has not moved. It was in my pickup every day for four months at the farm this fall. I was trying to fit some practice in whenever I could. I'm not saying it is the best, most durable scope ever made but I'm calling bs on it shifting with a little bump. I think it's a good scope for its price.
