Tikka t3x tac or Seekins Havak Hit

I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to comparing rifle stocks, but it appears to me that the Super Varmint Roughtech stock is more substantial than the factory CTR rifle stock. It should be, IMO, based on price difference. Keep in mind that's opinion only, based on appearance and reported dissatisfaction reported by many concerning the CTR stock. I DO know that the stock on my SV certainly seems substantial enough. Hopefully others with more experience with both can give a better response.
I must be the only one who like the ctr stock then. Mine works great and I haven't found a need to change it.

I agree. I have Varminter in 223, the Varminter stocks seem to be sturdier.

I have a 20" Tikka CTR in .260 and last time out with it I fired 7 shots total and was 7 for 7 at 875. I put it away and went home.

But ...........if I was gonna spend TAC A1 money then it would be on a Masterpiece Arms PMR. They extremely smooth and stupid accurate.

Dam, now you have me thinking MPA 6 dasher!!!!!

Oh, I'm sure you're not the only one who's satisfied with their factory CTR stock. It's just that the posts in which the poster is changing out the stock are so prevalent. At least it seems so to me.

Seems like most folks jump out of a Tikka stocks when they purchase them. I just put a new 22-250 into a KRG Echo and really like it over the T3X Lite stock.

As several have said, I don't think you can go wrong either way. I've had a T3 Tact A1 in .308 for a couple of years. It is an awesome shooting rifle. 16" bbl with Ultra 7 can, that I've taken out to just over 1000 yards on steel. I'm guessing a 24" 6.5 would be a sweet shooter at those distances! Tikka proprietary mags are spendy but they are very solid...haven't had any issues with them in any regard. The gun/system just plain works!

Can't speak for the Seekins yet...my Seekins is set to be shipped next week. Went with a 6.5 PRC, Havak Bravo. It is an older model but it's never been fired! Looking forward to getting it so I can stretch it's legs.

Good luck with your choice!
