Super Trickler - Import tax from Uncle Sam

We purchased a Super Trickler for the Manufacture last year.
Just got a Bill for $49.69 from UPS for an IMPORT TAX! by the USA Government!!!

Yup, nothing new--- always gotta beware on buying anything from outside usa-- depending on seller there could be import fees and taxes if the seller isn't paying them.

Also beware if you use a credit card and the sale was not in us dollars, ( pounds, yen, etc) as the credit card companies can tack on "currency exchange fees" when you bill comes in the mail

Yep, I paid $46 from US Customs for the import fee when I got mine. But I had to pay before they would release it for final shipping.

Worth it. I love my ST.

I liked mine…spent ~40 hrs building profiles for my various powders… then came the update and it wiped them all out.
I turned around and sold it and bought another V4

Hell, don't feel bad; when stationed in Europe and depending on what I bought, a "Value Added Tax" (VAT) was added to purchases. Nobody escaping that. Buy U.S. and you don't have to worry about it.

Yep, the gov't charges a tariff on goods imported into the USA with a value over $800.
