I drew on back in 22. Shot a good bear. Pm me the area, I can give you some spots if it is the same area. I ended up shooting a 6'8 (nose to bottom of pad) 19-3/8 bc.

I have to ask, but what do you mean by "nose to bottom of pad"?

Spring Bear in Southern Oregon for me this year… didn't draw my east side tag. Group I'm hunting this year with took 5 in less than 24 hours last year. Me? I don't think bear exist outside the zoo and your picnic baskets.

I have to ask, but what do you mean by "nose to bottom of pad"?

People measure bears differently. Some do from tip of the nose to bottom of their paw pad on the back legs. And some do nose to the tip of their tail.

Basically if the bear is standing up and has its nose to the sky, from the ground to the tip of their nose

Plenty of bears to come kill in Alaska. Make sure you smoke some wolves too if you see them.
