If not I have a good load with the 145gr blackhole bullet as well. Or maybe take the 27 Sherman mag with some 160gr trexs or 150gr SBD2s.
South of where I live is supposed to get 8-10" of white today and tonight. We sure do need it, snowpack is pretty low this year.
Yes! Nice work!Let me inspire you a little.
Most of these are my oldest Son Logan the guy with him is my best friend Todd, they are his plott hounds.
There is a couple there killed without hounds
Same up north. Probably live in smoke all summer is my guess.Snow…….what's that? Extremely dry here…..it sucks! memtb
Same Bear just can't see the white for some reason. It's pretty small.I figured it for a 3 year old sow.
Yeah at 600 they are tough to judge well, but with some time and patience on the bigger glass one can sort them out if they know what to look for.
The one in the first pic has a white chevron, I don't see it on this pic?
Wow, that's impressive. I only live about ten minutes from Rich but I just heard he sold.Right now I'm shooting a 160gr maker t-Rex at 3460fps with RL33.
Yes, these are the bullets.Wow, that's impressive. I only live about ten minutes from Rich but I just heard he sold.
So that is a 270cal 160gr at those fps
Never heard much on those bullets. I have been using Barnes LRx. I really want to like the monos but expansion is not that good under 2000 fps for most it seems.
What is the cost of those compared to Barnes or are they at the higher end like Hammers
Going to give it a shot as well. I always end up going, but not actually killing a bear. It sure beats working though!Opener in MT is 4/15. I hope to get out! Stupid work is trying to get in the way though.
Anyone else going?
I drew on back in 22. Shot a good bear. Pm me the area, I can give you some spots if it is the same area. I ended up shooting a 6'8 (nose to bottom of pad) 19-3/8 bc.I drew a tag this year in Idaho this year that opens on April 1st.
