I have been looked at getting the zulu6 but dont know if the pro is worth it. I was looking at either the 12x42hdx or the 14x50 pro. Any opinions, good or bad I would really appreciate it.

In my opinion, the short answer is no... the pro is not worth it. Some threads discuss this over on rokslide. I had a chance to compare my 16x42 zulu6 hdx to a new 16x50 zulu6 pro, and the regular 16x42 bested the new model (to my eye) in every way... in fact, inspite of the larger Objective... the 16x42 was brighter in very low light conditions. Resolution was better. I could get the eyepieces to align to my eyes better. The old super stable mode is more stable than the new single only stability mode on the pro. The pro weighs a lot more. There is no way to mount a pro to a tripod. The pro costs twice as much. I couldn't find a single thing about the new pro I liked better than the older model... I honestly don't understand what sig is trying to accomplish with this product.
