Thx Andrew. Hoping and thinking 100 gr GC should be .500 or better. That d put it with 103 Eldx. Got a couple boxes coming so will be able to compare.

Sierrra has their BC rating on it based on velocities so assuming they ve tested it. Top velocity is rated at .516 G1 and stays there til like 2000-2200 fps I believe. Should be good honest 600-800 yard bullet depending on which cartridge is launching them.

That is true for all bullets. Most manufacturers just average it into one number for simplicity. Some give you the breakdown though.

HunterMann, BC is an expression of drag and gravity. The faster an object goes through the atmosphere, the more drag or resistance it creates and the faster it travels the less time gravity has to pull it towards the ground. Consequently, the BC changes as the speed changes.

I bought a bunch of these with high hopes for this season. Youtubers claim inconsistent expansion below 2200fps. A local guy I see at the range often claims to have bagged 2 deer and 2 goats from 300-675yrds 243win with spectacular results, only time will tell I geuss.
