I don't usually engage your type as it's not really my style, but I'm a little bored tonight so what the heck.
Telling a guy his rifle is garbage is like telling him his wife is ugly. Even if she is only a weirdo does that. Yea your deer is bigger than anything I will probably ever see. Probably bigger than any deer in my state. But the fact that it is dead does not constitute proof that you shot it at 800 plus yards , or that you are a good hunter, just that you got a heck of a nice once in a lifetime deer. Congrats on the truly awesome deer. Sorry for your luck with the people skills.

Well I wasn't aware that blogging on a chat site constituted people skills, except for the people that go to coffee every morning.... I'm sorry... I just don't see spending $$$ on a gun unless it kills big critters, or the president that can't get his S%&# figured out, other than reading his a teleprompter... It's like buying a hooker from the Playboy mansion and just looking at her... Whatever. Put them in a glass case and S&*^K off to them!

Why don't you post up some pics of your guns 805 and some better pics of the deer?

This deer was shot this last year on BLM... It scores 265+ and I don't care to feed people's dreams... I stalked him for over 1.5 yrs. found his sheds from the year before... I am getting duplicates made. Look around in Cabelas, Gander Mountain, and Bass Pro Shops at the beginning of next year, and you can see him for yourself... As far as gun pics... I will post them if you really need to see HIM... He is nicknamed "The Equalizer" and isn't no slouch... Night Force 5.5-22x56, McMillan Stock, Jewel trigge, Krieger barrel, Stiller Action, Chambered in .338 Lapua... I think you get the picture... I'll round up some Gun/Safari Pics from Africa too if you want?...

What blows my mind is how you think nobody in this thread has shot any game or trophies for that matter with their rigs at longrange. Buddy, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you are not the only one. Do you really think that nobody else here knows how to use their rigs?

If you want to brag about how big your buck is and how much money you are going to make off of faux duplicates, go over to monstermuleys. If you want to show of your rig, this is the thread to do it. If you cannot grasp that, please leave. You dont have to feed our dreams. We live the dream.

Here's one of my boring guns. It's a Rem 700, 6.5x284 in a Siminsom Machine stock topped with a Leupold 8.5-25x44 Mark IV. This gun is especially boring because I have never shot S*ET with it. But I've punched a lot of paper and turned many rocks into gravel.

Here's a less boring gun because I've shot S*ET with it. A couple bears and a sitka blacktail in Alaska. It's a Defensive Edge Canyon Rifle in 338 Edge from Shawn Carlock. I've shot up to a boring mile with this unit.

I wish I was as good of a hunter as you. I only have five record animals with a longbow and one with a rifle.
