Brass, Brass, Brass is the 7WSM issue. Not so much with the 270 and 300.I am trying to choose between the 7 Mega and 7 WSM right now for my next build also.

Yes I know but I have a couple hundred brand new Bertram 7 WSM stored up from a few years ago. I do like the Sherman Mega line however and I am so glad I went with the long reamer version; I had two different 338 Megas in the past. Both were built using the shorter throat reamers at advice of someone. Could never get the velocities I wanted without major pressure issues with the shorter freebore reamer. Went with the long throated reamer for this 300 Mega and it is fantastic. Will certainly go with the long throat again also if I do the 7mm Mega that's for sure.Brass, Brass, Brass is the 7WSM issue. The last one I was around ran at 180vld at 3045-3050 with H1000, with fantastic accuracy. That's performance.I still love my 7 MAX. Best rifle I've ever had
