Scope Mount Tough vs Weight

For those of you who put Loctite or epoxy between the base and the gun, what is the secret to popping that off if you want to remove the base?

Small deadblow hammer.

Take the scope & rings off.
Screws out of the base.
And usually just 1 rap with a small deadblow.

Sure beats epoxy!
