Recipes for 7mm WSM with Reloder 26 and heavies?

My son Rob is using 69.3 grains of RL 26 out of my stock Model 70, 7WSM using 131 grain HAMMER HUNTER bullets. His last 5 shot group was .538 with speeds of 3326,3320,3325,3333,3321 along with a 3 shot .384 group.

Not using the heavy bullets but remember "SPEED KILLS"

In the essence of fire forming brass and trying another temp stable powder I loaded up some H1000 with a 175 ELD-X. 66.7 grains was 2930 fps and a .4" 3 shot group, with 45 rounds down the barrel. I need to load hotter, because I think I just entered the bottom end of the node. I'm hoping to be in the 2970-3000 fps range.

Nice - I'm getting ready to try the 180 eld-m 7wsm out of a 26" DT SRS covert. I use h4350 in my 24" win 300wsm 178 eld-x @ 2926. I'm hoping this 7wsm likes it as well. Have a good one

Finally got out for a little while this weekend - elev 5880 temp 60 avg vel 2880 26" barrel suppressed 7wsm with the 180 eld-m. This was using h4350 only did 100 yrds but it was shooting great. 1/4 to 1/2 when I did my part. Will try to take to distance and see if it holds together. I see guys getting higher vel with other powders and wonder if it's worth chasing? Do you think I will be getting good use of the BC or do I need to run faster to take advantage of it. Thanks for your thoughts.

I ran some rl17 thru the ex's 7wsm.....got pretty good velocity and really good accuracy.....24" barrel..cheap black shadow rifle....
Dont have the info though....all gone.....

This load is done for me time to start running it and have fun. I have put this here because I was having a hard time finding info for the eld-m, hope it helps someone. I ran up to 68gr h1000 with just a Very slight ejector mark barely even see it. That load produced 3101 fps avg. I'm going to stay with the 65.5 for now. Time will tell.
