I use both dillion swagers and RCBS Swagers for my single stage. You never know if the primer pocket might have sharp ring around it when you get once fired brass. I hate destroying primers or not being able to get the primer in
So.......merely cleaning the carbon build up from the primer pocket allows the primer to seat properly ?I am reloading form fired Brass and having to clean every primer pocket to get the new primer to seat. Is this a normal condition.
I just started to reload rifle rounds have been loading shot shells for years.
What brand of Brass....Starline makes two sizes of 6.5!I'm having trouble getting primers in my pockets to put in my brass. Lol

FG on the head?I've had the same problem with Hornady 308 brass once fired and for some reason I had to hit them just a tad with pocket reamer....Why? don't know maybe mine were crimped. It seemed odd to me as the headstamp read "308" not 7.62 or MiL headstamp.
