What strikes me as odd is that this bull is not broken at all…usually by December points are broken. Great bull, looks like a high fence harvest…not passing judgement, just calling it the way I see it

Go back and read the insert on post #2. Doesn't appear it was a high fence or farmed animal.

If it was a wild elk, I couldn't be more stoked for the hunter. However, due to the vagueness in the literature I have my doubts. All it says was that the bull was harvested somewhere in Eastern Washington. Would like to see & or hear a better account of the experience. It is not as if Casey will ever get to hunt that unit again due to the difficulty in drawing the tag. Why wouldn't he give a better description of where the animals was taken????Either way, to harvest such an incredible animals with a bow is an amazing feat.

How the !@#$ do people draw that many tags? Hell, I have been trying for 15 years to draw a tag

In Eastern Wa land owners receive a tag to cell or several if they offer public draw hunts.
Not sure all the details to pull that off but a friend used to offer that on his property for several years. These tags can go for some serious $$$$$$ with the right critters munch'n on the alpha.

It was Washington raffle tag. He has the funds to get this tag yearly if he desires too. Not a draw that takes years to get.

Nice and Big, but doesn't strike me as even close to the World Record, hard to tell in pics though. I'll just wait to see the BC score sheet. Gonna take a lot to beat the Spider Bull.

Casey's son has said it shatters the world record. Free range elk. Washington Governor's tag so I'm sure he paid plenty. He has its sheds from last year so he's been after this bull for awhile. Casey is the ultimate big bull killer. I don't think anyone can touch his resume. Of the 86 bull elk he has killed, I think this is his 12th bull over 400. So that's No 1, 2, 3 and 6 place Pope and Young bulls all time. DIY too! Impressive!
