Anyone remember the 100 yard group of .005" for five shots? I think there was a photo of it in one of the loading manuals from the '70's or ''80's.

And then in 2013 it got beat by this one after 40 years. It actually got scored at .0077. Most people would be thrilled with shooting the group on the sighter target.

Which brings up an interesting question ( well, at least interesting to me.). What should one reasonably expect as far as precision ( group size ) is concerned at 100 yards, 3 or 5 shot group, with factory match ammunition? Will it vary from caliber to caliber?

What do you mean by thisDon't see what the big deal is. A .243 cal bullet + .059 = .302" hole. It only takes me one shot to make a hole that size…not five like this clown!
