Crazy where .22's have come. I had this VUDOO built. It was just too heavy for my 71-year-old ***. Running the NRL Matches isn't for me anymore. I sold this rifle but after looking at those LIGHT RimX guns, maybe another in my future. If I don't want to spend another $4000.00, I'll turn towards a Tikka or another Bergara.

I had a Bergara B14R that would, do all do it, fair amount of complaints. Never owned a CZ, but that CZ 527 MTR ?? is very popular, as are most of their 22LR rifles. for the money, may be the easy button.

I recently received my completed build from Jonathan with Modican and had extremely high hopes for how well it would shoot. (Kreiger 1.25" straight barrel, RimX action, KRG Whiskey 3 Gen 6 chassis, TT Diamond flat blade trigger and presently topped off with a NF Comp 15-55x52 scope) I have attached 2 separate groups, the 1st one is 20 shots and the 2nd one is 15, all shot at 127 yards.

Why 127 yards you ask?!? We had some yahoo with a full auto machine pistol that was apparently walking lots of mag dumps over a 30+ foot berm and manager to hit something of importance on private property. The end result was they closed the range down of from early May through the end of Aug. They had to wait for some "official governing body" to come in and re-certify our range as 'Safe'. We only have 1 range open for rifles and the "official governing body" stated that all targets MUST be positioned at the BACK of the 100 yd range DIRECTLY next to the berm. Hence. 127 yards...

Needless to say, this build has exceeded my expectations...

I have a Rem 552 speedmaster, semi I have been wanting to get out of the box. But I haven't decided what scope would be a good candidate for hunting ?

Last week a friend gave me a box of Eley Match Ammo in the black box to try in my CZ 457 Target MTR With Lothar Walter barrel. The West Texas wind slowed down for half a day so I shot some groups at 200 yds. WOW! I thought this rifle preferred LAPUA LONG RANGE. I hope he's got some more of it.

This target is from my Ruger Mk IV Stainless 8" Competition model. 30' while resting on bag. Trying new ammo.
The pistol has an old 2.5x Redfield on it. I will get a photo of it today.

It is too bad that no one is shooting a 22 target rifle with peep sights. When in high school we had a 50' shooting range in the high school and had a gun club and shot 3 nights a week no rests and 10 shot groups. My best was 99 those were the best days.
