If I had the money I would be glad to. I certainly have the time right now... Which sucks.Have at it mud
One railgun with quick-change barrel setup would also work. Same bolt face, just different barrels.I only have enough parts laying around to make One railgun...
You don't own any shotguns? The only smooth bore in my house is a Daisy
But you were talking rail gunsYou don't own any shotguns?
I know, I was just making a joke. But, the only true way to test a cartridge's accuracy, and NOT the bullet's or rifle's accuracy, is to fire bullets out of a barrel with absolutely ZERO chance of the rifling enhancing the accuracy, since that is what enhances the accuracy of a weapon by spinning a bullet at the proper RPM to gyroscopically stabilize it once it leave the muzzle. But you were talking rail guns
Take ur 5rs 300wm vs 308 shoot groups from load manual min to max and avg the group sizeI know, I was just making a joke. You can't do that to measure a cartridge's accuracy...At that point, you're measuring the RIFLE'S accuracy. EVERY barrel is going to be different. The only way to measure a cartridge's true accuracy capabilities will have to be a smoothbore comparison. If a cartridge's design truly affects accuracy, then one design will be more accurate than another, even without rifling.Take ur 5rs 300wm vs 308 shoot groups from load manual min to max and avg the group size
They would probably sue you for copyright infringement. They'll have to pay me money everytime they sell ammo, dies, brass, or use the name... I made one and posted it on here months ago.
I'll see if I can dig it up...
Been done.Sure there is and a 30-30 does not have the ability to be as accurate as the 30br at 2 or 3 hundred yards. The br family of cases are designed to punch paper and win br matches. The br family of cases holds all sorts of benchrest records. The 30-30 holds how many benchrest records? U may say that People don't use it, well that is because its not inherently accurate by design like the br cases. People in the benchrest world know what works. By all means build a benchgun chambered in 30-30 and prove me wrong if you want.
Lead round ball?Still waiting to see if anyone is interested in performing this test to prove a theory...
But I have proof that I designed it before they did. Date/time-stamped proof. They would probably sue you for copyright infringement.
Nope, shoot regular bullets, just no rifling in the .243" or .264" diameter bores.Lead round ball?
Well let's see I haven't seen it!But I have proof that I designed it before they did. Date/time-stamped proof.
It's posted somewhere on here, I've looked for it. I made the round sometime middle of last year.Well let's see I haven't seen it!
