My new 6.5 Creedmoor

My buddy has the 12LRP in 260 Remington. Nice rifle, shoots well. He is claiming to be getting 2890FPS with 140 VLDs. The LRP has a 26" barrel. HS stock, same as yours.

That FPS does not sound out of line at all, I am getting 2815 fps according to a magneto speed chronograph with 142 gr bullets

yeah could be. When I was shooting it the speed was around 2800. He took it to Montana said there it is shooting 2890. He needs to take it out to distance and verify drop now. My 6.5-284 needs a 26" tube. : )

Very nice setup. Like the newer LRP stock.

Here's a picture of a Savage 12 LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor dropped into a McRee Precision stock. My wife loves to shoot this rifle and the McRee stock allows a lot of length of pull and cheek weld adjustment. And like everyone elses, it shoots great.:D

I'm intrigued! Are you able to seat the bullets all the way out or does the magazine limit seating depth?

Great shooting by the way.
