More often than not you can work out a deal with the seller to give you a 3-5 day inspection period so you don't get stuck with a busted stick.

Look at a Browning X-Bolt Pro. It's a lightweight rifle with factory barrel lapping. It's also Browning's best rifle.
Mine is in 6.5 PRC. Think of it as a "magnum 6.5CM" with between 200 fps and 300 fps more velocity depending on bullet weight.
Not a lot or recoil for the good ballistics it has.
