That is a bummer. This one really surprised me, as it actually shoots slightly better than my PH1 in 6.5 PRC. Very happy with both.I wish the PH2 in 300 PRC I had would have shot that well. I loved the rifle, but it just wouldn't shoot better than 3/4 MOA with the 5 powders, 6 bullets and 2 primers I tried. And it was a 1:10" twist, which was a little odd for a 300 PRC.
Looks great! What height rings did you go with?Early birthday present. Seekins Havak PH2 in 7mm rem mag. Going to run Federal Premium Berger Hybrid Hunter 168 grain Ammo in it. Mounted up the scope today. Now just waiting on ammo.View attachment 393042
I got one in 300PRC about a month ago. Topped it with a Leupold VX6. Against my better judgement I just put the rings in the factory installed base and installed the scope. 3 shots later the base was loose.Nice! I have one in 300prc and it flat out shoots!
When I got mine, I couldn't get it shoot the 225 ELDm with factory ammo or with handloads. Your rife may not like the ELDx bullet. Mine shoots the 208 ELDm very well.I got one in 300PRC about a month ago. Topped it with a Leupold VX6. Removed everything and degreased action and base, reinstalled base and used loctite on screws and torqued them down. Tried again the next day and although everything is still tight I cannot get the gun to group under 2" with Hornady ELD-X
Did some shooting with it last weekend but was able to get it out on the bench to do some shooting at 100 and 200 yards today. Very impressed with accuracy on this one. Here are my best groups at 100 yards.
I agreeNice shooting. Mine is super accurate as well but chambered in 300 win mag. In my opinion, this is probably the best factory rifle ever made.
