@CRP003 BOI inspired

You could since we typically use 28-31 gauge needles, but from our testing Bergers were unnecessary. This was mainly a mono issue we encountered. Berger obviously have the tip clearing issue but there were specific mono's needed something else to promote consistency and get back the "pop". We were able to watch this occurrence thanks to our slow motion camera.
What's your website? This slow mo on it?

Yes Full, but there many variables to this also, all tips are not created equal (materials, densities, and machining). There are irregularities among them. When seated to the metal alloy there is always a finite "gap". This gap is evident when the projectile is in motion and the oil is evacuated. How much oil remains? This is unfortunately not measurable.
We see evidence of this as the "vapor" as most know it, is expelled. I'm unfortunately unable to share which oil is the best and procedures to install yet until I am an active sponsor due to my involvement in this industry.
So is this a fix for bullets that didn't perform to your liking that your selling? Or did I miss read the post?

LHD,
The gentleman had asked what oil we are using? I simply cannot divulge our formula or injection process. However, I have offered many other methods and substances that work well "free" (I will not try to market or sell my products without being a sponsor.) Some of those "oils" produced up to 8% larger expansion with a more violent "pop" after impact as seen with our Claravision. Its not about what bullets didn't perform to my liking. It's about providing a solution to some bullets that do not perform as well as other even within their own brand. We as hunters are always trying to raise the bar on our tools we use.

We tried using oils on pure lead hollow points to cup and core to bonded and then monos. Lead simply responded nearly the same with or without the oils/solutions we tried. Copper alloys varied among brands and results because there are so many variables. What we do know is there are products that facilitate expansion without question. Is it needed? That could be said for everything we do. I don't want to get into weeds too much. But understand solutions to some types of bullets are coming even though we may not feel a solution is needed!
