Well...Maybe I'll make this a challenge and another thread "How for can i shoot budget cartridge".This brass can be used for a lot more than 300m if you wish. Once you take the time to prep it, it will be fine.

Cancel that. Error on the inter web. I knew it was a unicorn. However, when I inquired about brass they had just received a shipment; he looked and low and behold there was some Norma. It's $189.95/100. OUCHES. I'm happier now and will likely use the Winchester as break-in brass only. Then it'll become my friends brass for his Savage. He'll be happy...cheap bugger. Lol.So. quick action required. I can get my hands on some RL19. Thoughts?

Yeah I totally agree. It definitely will be a 300M and closer hunting rifle. I still wil likely shoot it @ 600 with different powders and bullets. That's what makes hunting fun. It's the journey. Well for me shooting and reloading is almost as fun as hunting. I wouldn't under estimate that scope. 10 power is plenty to shoot out to 600-800. Especially with the BDX. Once I have a SD under10 and a nice bell curve on some decent intervals...just range and put that orange dot on the target and pull the trigger. Lots of fun.Personally I wouldn't even work up a long range load with that rifle, since you already mentioned you have a 6.5CM. Plus the set up with your current scope and 20" barrel is not really suited for that mission.
I'd just keep that as a hunting gun for bear/moose - as you mentioned in your first post. Near full case of IMR 7828, 150 or 160 partition. Try a few charge weights and seating depths. Once you get it to shoot +/- 1 -1.5 MOA at 100 yds, sight that thing in for 2" high at 100 yds and go killin'.
