Thanks for your service and congrats on those bucks!!
First thank you for your service brother, man that's a stud !!!Been after this guy all year. Two other shooters in the same spot but wanted that brow tine on my wall ha. I call him "Thorn". Last year he had normal brows and a flyer off of his left main beam.
I set up a blind in his bedroom a couple weeks ago and brushed it in excessively. I knew when the cold north wind came in he would daylight. He has been doing the same thing for three years. I passed him last year when he was 4, but he's not getting anymore passes ha.
The 5 year old dropped a 155 this year and the wife a 153….but I think the old man has them beat, what do you think?
I retired from the Army after 20 years last Friday. I'm taking this as a retirement gift from the Man up stairs.
I love Kansas!!!!!

As requested, Pics of the whole families deer this year. The wife isn't pictured as she got called in for a procedure shortly after releasing an arrow and I like to get them opened up and to the taxidermist quickly. The other is my 5 year olds second buck.

A smokeless muzzlestuffer I put together in august for my son. It's a Prefit Bartlein heavy Varmint (truck axle) on an origin action, manners CS 2.0, TT Special, area 419 full length arca rail, and a shockwave brake. Tosses a 300 gr XLD @ 3140 fps with H4895. Locked into the RRS tripod and level head it recoils like a 6mm bolt gun. Topped with a Bushnell XR2….say what you want about Bushnel optics but I just sold an extra NF 7-35 I had laying around and the Bushnell didn't move ha. I know they aren't in the same class but I LOVE that optic. I used to compete with an XRS 1….anyways. I shot him at 50 yards so he got hit with 6061 Ft lbs of energy ha. Didn't move after the trigger pull. The barrel is coming off this week and headed to LRI for a diet via deep diamond fluting and cerakote to match the action. I was putting together sub 1/2 minute groups out to 765 yards with it a few weeks ago. I love these new smokeless rigs!Gotta ask the standard LRH questions- what did you hit him with, how far, how many shots?
