I guess we have 2 threads, Okay.
I've been working on this kit going on 20 years. Shell Valley Motors 427S.Cobra.
Had it on the road maybe a year then decided to change things.
Started with 4 speed top load straight shift. Dominator carburetor, 650Hp.
Decided to try fuel injection, pro force
Rails, I think they are 80s but I might be wrong I would have to look in my paper work. And took the stick out and put a
Automatic in. I KNOW SORRY. Making it so my Wife and Daughter can drive it.
I haven't weight it yet but it's fiberglass and chrome moly I'm guessing 2400lbs.
Still have a lot of work with all the added electronics. Ford 9" 3.53. 4 link.

Looks like you have what we call an external combustion engine. Lol

I've helped a couple of friends in the pits for drag racing through the years.

My main love is "road racing".
Tracks like VIR, Birmingham Motorsports Park, Watkins Glen, Sebring, Limerock.

Most of my pit work was for a team that ran SCCA, GT1. Same team raced in GrandAm, IMSA.

The one car we had hit 203mph through the trap on the road course at Daytona.

DEI (Dale Earnhardt) engined, "Camero".
We also ran Chrysler's 1994 entry into IMSA. 1994 Dodge Daytona. 1.6L or 2.0L (depending on type of race, strangely enough the 1.6L was for sprint races).
Front engine with an open wheel type transaxle in the back.
Engines made 450hp & 420hp natural aspiration.

I pit crewed professionally for an open wheel team running Formula BMW.
This series was to find the up coming generation of Formula 1 drivers.

I have a set of LSX heads from DEI from when they were building the engines for the Leman's race with the yellow corvette.
I hope to use them someday on my 6.0l build in a 1970 Camaro

We had bought one engine from DEI. Put it in the car and took the SCCA championship that year at Summit Point, WV.
End of year we switched the engine out and sent it to be refreshed.
Guy called and asked why we bought a restrictor plate engine.
Huh?
$42,000, it better not be a restrictor engine!

Best pull on dyno before tear down was 600hp.
Was over 800hp when we got it back.

I am hoping to get 800-900 naturally aspirated if I ever get to build it.
I had a 385 sbc that I built running alcohol and it pulled 675 on the dyno, that thing was a torque monster.
