Most horsepower available in a medium action?

I've tried monos a few times and always come back to good ol fashioned Berger hybrids..and 9 twist will almost stabilize everything there is, but it's always nice to have the little extra if needed! Reminds me I've got a big bag of 7mm cutting edge Maximus bullets I need to post up

How long is the barrel, and what is the case capacity? 2800 FPS is in the .338 RUM (83.5g IMR 7825 = 2805 FPS)/NM (85.5g H4831SC = 2807 FPS) velocity range out of 26" with 250 Berger.

I don't rightly see how you'd get more bang for your buck outta that setup? I'd guarantee there won't be many other medium length guys putting up those kinda numbers
