Nice! Congratulations.
Wanted to post pictures from my first bear hunt this season in Michigan. Hunted hard with the bow all season but finally got it done with the 30/30
Ended up right at 300 lbs
Nice looking Michigan bear ! 300 lbs. and up not to many harvested !
I guided bear hunters for 14 years started bear hunting in 1973 in Michigan....always hunted the last hunt in the UP because of guiding and it was easy to get a permit every year ....but you needed to fill it before the October 10 or it got very difficult even some years they were already in there dens for the winter !
Michigan needs to charge non-residents a lot more than they do for tags....look at what many States are charging a lot more !
I think it's 150 for non res. Took me 9 years to draw as a resident. No clue for non res. Resident only for elk as the tags are so limited. Something like a .01 percent chance of drawing a tagCurious George here but what do they charge for their non res tags?
And can a non res apply for your elk tags?
350 bones and over the counter !Yeah 150 is dirt cheap, not positive what they are here but I'm thinking they're in the 350 range. Course Non Res can come here and hunt spot n stalk on their own very effectively
