Looking for best short barrel performance cartridge

Okay....great feedback for far. Thanks. I've narrowed my decision down to either a 7RSAUM or a 300 WSM. 7 WSM would be front runner if I knew I could get good brass. Let's focus on these two. I'm soliciting additional data/feedback on these two (three if someone know for sure where I can get good 7WSM brass).
I don't have any arguments against the wsm, but man do I love a 7 Saum. I've had a lot of rifles, and a lot of cartridges, but one I'll never not have is a 7 Saum. They're easy to load for, accurate, can run a large variety of bullet weights and powders, hold their tune for large portions of barrel life, have less recoil then the wsm and I'd be extremely confident with mine on any North American game. Great brass for both cartridges though no doubt.

Don't overlook Sherman 7 Mega if you've got an inkling for the 7 wsm. You'd want at minimum a medium receiver.

Go with a large bore diameter, like a .338. I have a 20" .338 Sherman Short and my buddy has 16" .338 RCM. We launch 230-250 class bullets at 2550-2650fps and it is impressive what they do from 15-600yards. They perform way outside of their "class".

270 SS 20" barrel - Shooting 150 NABLR at 3075FPS
338 MEGA 20 barrel - 265 NABLR at 2650 // 250 Berger at 2850 // 250 NAB at 2650 // 270 ELDX at 2700

Irony….. @Get_Saum recommending something other than a SAUM. LOL 😂
😝 For me this 20" 7 Saum

However he did say

The 7 Mega is essentially a better long necked 7 wsm with a a little more performance. Brass is made by adg and available. I had a 7 wsm once I got off my local classifieds for a deal because the guy wasn't a reloader and couldn't find ammo. It was a GA Precision built Non Typical that I changed the stock on. Did some load development with it and sold it to a good buddy who always wanted a GA Non Typical. It shot amazing with a 168 Berger vld. Here's some pics.

I've got one of each. Can't go wrong with either one in my opinion!

There's full article on here where Gary Sloan worked extensive with the 338 nm .They shortened it up quite a bit and it was still a good performer. This goes back to early development of the 338NM,had mine 14 years now

Everything deer and larger:

I run a 20" 7PRC for that purpose. It throws 160gr mono's at 2880 fps 1.5gr below Hornady's published maximum charge. At my elevation it stays above 2000fps (for recommend minimum expasion velocity) to about 725 yards which works great for my self imposed limit of 600. It works nicely for 99% of my elk and deer hunting.
