I like a lot of others try to read the case, bolt lift, and knowledge of my rifle. But the fact is these are only indicators, and just like every other development process you can get false indicators and a lack of indicators. It is up to you to know your equipment well enough to recognise and understand them. If I could afford it i would have pressure trace and the whole 9yrds.
