Leupold mark 5 3.6-18

Anyone have real world experience on these scopes? I have ran nightforce for a long time but am thinking of trying one.

I see Gunwerks putting them on rifles but I have never had any luck with leupold. My NF have been perfect every time

@Huntnful ordered a MOA Mark 5 and it came with MIL internals. How does that abortion get passed QC?

Owned two. Sold one solely to help move a rifle as a package. Great scopes. Banged one up good a few years and performed great. Still own that one. Go for it. It's not a vx5/6... far nicer.

If I were to buy another Leupold, it would be the new Mark 4 with the 34mm tube though. I had 3 Mark 5's. One had the wrong internals and the other 2 lost zero bouncing around in the side by side. Before the side by side zero loss though, the scope was solid and I killed some deer with it

The two I have have held zero and tracked properly out to a mile and back several times.

I have NF NX8s and an ATACR but the eye box and glass is better for me on the MK5s.

I just got one of the new MK4 HDs and it's a really nice scope. Tracks well and the glass is good. I was impressed with it in low light too.
