Not my main deer rifle and a matter of fact it might be a bit too much for a deer rifle but it didn't discriminate this passed weekend on a good mountain muley. It's a Christensen Arms Traverse in a 28 Nosler

Very nice... gots a Win 70 270wsm (as new). The old story, haven't had time to work up loads yet. Tikka 300wsm also... both are sittin' patiently waiting ther turn but also keep get'n pushed back by a new purchases ... This week (Wed) comes a SA way point in 308 (got lots of loads to start wiff for her tho!!)
257 Ackley built by the late Harold Broughton. 24" Broughton barrel , McMillan stock and topped with Zeiss. Load - Winchester brass and LR primer, 50gr IMR 4350 and topped with Nosler 100gr Partions. Will shoot in 3's . Finally took a Texas Panhandle Mulie with it last season.

What part of the Panhandle? I used to hunt east of Shamrock. Too injured to do much now.
The rifle is a beauty, certainly one of a kind.
